2023 Lecture

Since the event’s conception in 2018, The Chamberlain Lecture has witnessed some truly exceptional guest speakers, and this year will be no different.

The speaker for the 6th Chamberlain Lecture will be the Leader of Birmingham City Council, Councillor John Cotton.

Our venue for the 2023 Lecture, taking place on June 15th, is the iconic Highbury Hall in Birmingham.

The building was commissioned as Joseph Chamberlain’s residence in 1878 and represents the perfect location for this year’s event.

The venue is located at 4 Yew Tree Rd, Moseley, Birmingham B13 8QG. Drinks and canapes will be available from 6pm, served in the beautiful grounds of Highbury Hall, if the weather allows. You will have the opportunity to visit the Chamberlain library, before taking your seats for the lecture in the Great Hall, under the portrait of Joseph Chamberlain himself.
